Airvoice
Group, a Gurgaon-based entity with core interests
in commodity exports, has launched an ambitious diversification
into green energy with a plan to produce 13,000 megawatts
(mw) of power.
The
company is expecting an estimated investment of $50
billion (around Rs 2 lakh crore) over a period of
10 years. Company officials claim it is the largest
green energy project in the world. |

Sanjay Kapoor, chairman and managing director of Airvoice
Group, said the company plans to generate 10,000 mw
through solar energy and 3,000 mw through wind farms
that would be set up on 50,000 acres of wasteland
in Karnataka. |

Inviting Satluj Jal Vidyut
Nigam to participate in its power projects, Airvoice
Group today offered its 48 per cent equity to the
state-run hydro power producer. Airvoice Group is
developing wind farms of 100MW in Gujarat. It is developing
another 200MW wind farm and 100MW solar power project
in Karnataka. "We are offering 48 per cent stake
to SJVNL," Airvoice Group Chairman Sanjay Kapoor
said today. Airvoice proposes to set up a 10,000 MW
Solar Power Plant in Karnataka and has shortlisted
12 locations including Kolar, Chitradurga, Bellary,
Koppal, Haveri, Gadag, Bijapur for the same. |

cent equity to the state-run hydro power producer.
Airvoice

Airvoice
Group has proposed to set up a 10,000 MW Solar Power
Plant in Karnataka. (10,000 Solar and 3,000 Wind) After
the in principal acceptance, KREDL has asked Airvoice
Group to submit immediately a DPR for the 1st Phase
initially (100MW Solar and 200MW Wind). The total investment
being done by the company in the project would be 3200

signed a MoU with the GoG for a 100 MW wind farm project.
It has identified two high potential sites near the
border of Gujarat and Rajasthan which posses the ideal
characteristics for wind farm development. The proposed
high potential project would deploy 67 wind turbine
generators and generate around 200 million units of
electricity every year. |
